Improve how? in what way?

With clintons flick of her wrist, the world will suddenly be better?

With a flick of Trump's it can get a whole lot worse, he'll have the pen and he'll have the phone. And I suppose many liberals are just okay with that for the hollow satisfaction of feeling ideologically pure.

You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

Man, they must hate us for what we did to the Japanese.

This may shock you, but a lot of people do think that the internment of Japanese people in WWII was morally wrong and a stain on American history.

Given your evident indifference to the rights of minorities, I'm starting to wonder if the reason you won't back Clinton is actually that you'd be fine with having Trump's bigotry in the White House.

We now practically read it "all men are created equal, except negroes" When the Know-Nothings get control, it will read "all men are created equal, except negroes, and foreigners, and Catholics." When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretence of loving liberty -- to Russia, for instance, where despotism can be taken pure, and without the base alloy of hypocracy." - President Abraham Lincoln.

And I say it like that because it is. All science points to massive climate change on an unprecedented scale, and the window to curtail its effects is closing fast. If we do not take drastic measures within the next couple of election cycles, we're never going to be able to adjust to the changed climate as a society without bloodshed: as many as 100 million people could find their homes underwater by 2100. Where are they going to go, exactly? You think we have a refugee crisis now?

Why? We're currently making great strides in electric vehicles even in spite of oil companies; at this point, gasoline has no serious advantages, and electric actually has the advantage in acceleration. Many cities are already even putting in charging stations for them -- I feel it's a change that is coming on its own, but would come faster if there were government incentives for it.

They would have under Bernie Sanders as well considering that he would still be using drones. Clinton and Trump do not have the same foreign policies - as president, Trump will have to do what Republicans want him to. Republicans will be populating his administration.

I'm starting to wonder if anyone actually watched the debate that was specifically about Foreign Policy. Bernie and Clinton's foreign policy was very similar, and both of them would've continued Obama's policies. And all three of them are infinitely superior to Donald Trump's.

I'm mostly talking about civilian automobiles -- cars and trucks. We have a big military, but I suspect it's still only utilizing a very small proportion of the gasoline and diesel vehicles we have on the road.

No, because it was never supposed to be, and because the GOP was horribly obstructionist when it was in Congress.

Obamacare was a compromise that it seems hardly anyone really liked.

I don't doubt the issue will continue to be revisited.

I mean, Bernie was rather more esoteric and hands-off.
Clinton and Trump's foreign policies are literally the same thing. Except Trump rhetorically jabberjaws about the ebul ISIS he's going to kill more of while Clinton just has that as an unspoken given because it would be too dreadfully embarrassing for her to say it and out her and Obama's foreign policy as 'Republican's foreign policy, but with slightly less rhetoric about destroying our enemies'.

But to be fair, Sanders was going to continue drone policies, too, so he's not exactly great in that regard either.
