Not if I and many others have anything to say about it!

Indeed.

I'll be living in a swing state in November. I'll try to do my part and vote for Clinton.

No, it's not. The general election will be far different than the primaries. Trump now has to appeal to the entire country, not just the wingnuts in the Republican Party.

Exactly.

Again, I do not believe he has majority support, and the polls back that up. If we lose, its due to low turnout and/or vote-splitting.

Or fraud. There's always that fear.

But if we are enthusiastic, united, and vigilant in our opposition to Trump, we can beat him soundly.

Make sure you're registered to vote, leave nothing to the last minute, and be wary of attempts at disenfranchisement.

Maybe pundits said that, but the polls didn't. The polls predicted he'd win the nomination.
You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

So? The polls have her ahead pretty comfortably, and I think Hillary can only go up from here.

That was in no small part due to the anti-Trump voters being split between upwards of a dozen candidates. Towards the end, Cruz and Kasich moved toward allying against him, but too little, too late.

Now their are only two names of note on the ballot. As long as the Bernie or Bust numbers can be kept down, we have a more or less united anti-Trump front.

The Bernie or Bust movement is worrying, though. Some Bernie supporters are also starting to prop up candidates like Gary Johnson and Jill Stein.

This shouldn't be surprising. I remember seeing a poll last year that had Trump leading all of the other Republican candidates.

The minute I saw that poll, I knew that he would likely keep his lead, and I was right.

They're a pretty small fringe according to the polls, if disturbingly vocal (seriously, they've overwhelmed the comments on poor Bernie's Facebook posts).

The only things I can think of that would be likely to give them much fuel would be some unexpectedly nasty convention infighting, a horrible VP pick, or Clinton in some other way going back on her promises to progressives in a major way.

Or an out of the blue indictment.

Clinton better not fuck this up man. If she does, and Trump wins...I don't know what I am going to do.

I am practically forced to vote for her at this point, even though I don't want to. As an African-American, I can't stand the idea of Trump or the Republicans ripping away our civil rights.

Interestingly enough all the Bernie or Bust comments have disappeared from Hillary Clintons and The DNC FB pages. I wonder if last night has anything to do with that.

What's funny about that?

Its certainly ironic that the party of Lincoln is now the more racially regressive party, but I wouldn't call it funny. More tragic, with a side of horrifying.

Getting a solid dose of what the alternative to Clinton is can have that effect. :)

I suggest she crib from the Daily Show and go with "Don't forget, Donald Trump wants to bang his daughter."

Absolutely not. She should adopt a positive slogan that explains her vision for America. "I'm With Her" is cultish and weird.
You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

A property mogul is hardly the "Grandmaster", that probably belongs to the CEO of the top of the fortune 500.
