ここに日本人はいますか。

日本語を何で学びましたか。なぜ日本語を学びましたか。日本に行ったことがありますか。

私は日本人じゃないですけど日本語を面白い言語と思います。私は日本に行ったことがありますけどただ成田空気で五時間ストップオーバーでした。将来に日本に行ってみたいです。

ここで英語で話すのもいいです。でも、日本語ができることであれば、日本語で話してください！

Welcome to the Japanese discussion thread! Japan's language, history, and culture has fascinated a huge amount of people both throughout history and through modern times. Undoubtedly there are many people on this forum who are interested in the island nation and topics regarding it. Feel free to discuss anything and many things related to Japan. If you don't know Japanese - don't worry, it's fine to speak here in English, though I would prefer discussions in Japanese.

However, please try to avoid using online translators such as Google Translate or Babel... they don't really work. GT Japanese might as well be considered a separate language from Japanese.

Can you please add a few lines in the OP what the thread is about in English.

私もアメリカ人だけど、アメリカの韓国人です。いつか日本に行きたいけど時々人種差別だから心配します。でも若い人はあまり良くないでしょう。

日本語ができる人がもっと多いと思ったけど。。。。。。

日本語を勉強している人が多いですが、漢字を使って書いた日本語を読める人が多いわけではありませんね。

Nyet I just can't read Kanji for the love of my life

I actually was able to read *almost* the whole poll. To answer... I haven't tried Unagi, and I think I ate Chinese tonkatsu or something before; but I sure want to try them out.

日本語は絶対に難しい言語ですよ。

日本語を勉強してから、他の言語を勉強したら、易しそうですよ。

my friend is trying to learn at the moment and everytime i type something it gets me super-hype about teaching them about it

unfortunately the japanese threads tend to end up dead

lol... do you know human japanese? if you have like $10 (idk how much that is in dongs) you should get it

same with intermediate. really good and really helps.

memrise is also good for memorizing some vocab but u should probably try using some of that and u dont really learn grammar

just put in a lot of time lol. the more u familiarize urself with japanese the easier it will get.

私の意見だけです。私はドイツ語も勉強していて、スペイン語も勉強したことがあります。日本語のほうが難しいと思います。
