His main goal with multiculturalism was to reduce the influence of Quebec within Canada. I should not even have to mention that.

So you've proved definitively that A) you have no idea what actually constitutes Canadian nationalism...

As for the thought police, having the choice between only the 2, I will always chose an antidemocratic system that work for the people, than one who works against; flooding it with hordes of foreigners that keeps low paying wages down and disrupt the peace.

I don't know everything about Canadian laws, and you are intolerant to second-guessing.
Agree to disagree?
Because I have a last-word complex, I'll end this with another lovely analogy.
Saying sex and gender are different is the same as saying a footwear and shoes are different. Defined as one another and synonymous. It's dependent on what the person or society defines as footwear (a social construct!).

Are we done? This is getting tiresome.

That you fail to understand the difference between sex and gender is not my problem. They are not the same thing, regardless of whether or not you claim they are. All the misguided analogies in the world won't change that, because reality does't give two shits about your opinion.

I do not "agree to disagree" with people that are factually wrong.

"Reality".

Gender, as you define it, is a social construct. That is literally the opposite of reality.

Reality is the state of things as they exist.

Social constructs are things that exist.

I'm not entirely sure how you reach the conclusion that social constructs are "literally the opposite of reality", particularly when I wasn't addressing that subject - hence why I asked you to re-read my post. But you seem bent on misinterpreting what I said.

The state of things, as they exist, is that "sex" and "gender" are not the same thing.

Social constructs exist no more than an idea exists. They are both immaterial and intangible, and are thus only as much a part of reality as society interprets them as such.

My point is that you're trying to claim that the idea that gender and sex are different things is an absolute truth. This is inherently wrong, since the former, in your own words, is a social construct. Claiming it is an intrinsic part of reality is foolish, especially since yours is not a universally held opinion.

No, it isn't. A thing can exist without being absolute, or intrinsic to reality.

Again, not the topic of this thread. Make a new one if you want to continue.

Moving on: Government pressed on plan to deal with migrants illegally crossing into Canada.

This is a decidedly interesteing turn: asylum seekers fleeing the Land of the Free and into Canada.

To anyone with a tiny bit of judgement, it was obvious it would be happening if Trump were to win the Presidency.

But we have the Liberals in power and now this comes up as a "recent news" due to their lack of hindsight.
I hope a solution will be found fast.

And by solution, I mean, a real one. Not some high grade kind of retardation like Montreal did by making itself a sanctuary city. But what can you expect from an ex-Liberal party mayor.

Tony Clement hangs up on CBC Radio Montreal's morning show Daybreak after he was pressed on what the Conservative's response to the asylum seekers crossing the Canada-US border should be, then goes on Twitter to complain about it.
