The two are not mutually exclusive. A sociopath can have narcissistic personality disorder. They often do. See Trump as an example. A sociopath has no empathy or conscience. A narcissistic has grossly inflated self worth. Trump has both, and although I am not a psychiatrist I would also say he cleary exhibits some borderline personality disorder and Psychosis.

While it is fun to mock Trump, I almost feel bad for him. He is a very sick man in need of professional help. Though sociopathy is considered essentially untreatable. Maybe the others can be worked on.
