Can't say it's an unexpected Pat Riley move. It wasn't an irrational thing, Wade played out of his mind in the playoffs last year but sooner or later the Heat had to stop hitching up to his potentially failing knees and falling percentages all over the floor.

Nah, just signed the guy we drafted and a couple of role players. No point in signing a big name right now.

Butler will be a SG/SF hybrid, with the ability to bring up the ball. Wade will probably try playing SF a bit, he not that much smaller than a typical SF.

Wade can drive and has a solid shooting ability, not to mention he's clutch. Rondo can drive and kick to Butler, or keep it and take it to the whole. They're a solid team, they'll make the playoffs easy.

Why would you put Wade at SF, he would straight get bullied, especially in the East. If anyone, I would put Butler since he has the height, better shooting and solid cutting capabilities, and putting him at the 3 would space the floor better than Wade.
