WHEN DID HOWARD GO TO THE HAWKS?!

Don't worry; I don't know half of the players listed there.

Remember Okafor missed a lot of games injured.

Also, Wade to Chicago makes no sense. Their 2 best players will be at the same position

Can't belive that Wade left Heat.
I have no idea who Heat can sign now. Most of the good free agents have chosen their new team by now.

Can't say it's an unexpected Pat Riley move. It wasn't an irrational thing, Wade played out of his mind in the playoffs last year but sooner or later the Heat had to stop hitching up to his potentially failing knees and falling percentages all over the floor.

Yeah but this could really hurt their chances in future signings.

It was kind of inevitable, I mean Wade's good years are behind him, and he will most likely never be the same again, he doesn't have that much to contribute to the Heat anymore, for the Heat, it's probably going to be rebuilding and building a franchise around Whiteside.

Yes, but he hasn't really been performing well before his injury, either, not to mention his character, but that's another story.

Wade probably just wanted to play for his hometown. That is what I'm guessing.

That I will say is true. I mean, he was their star and they didn't want to pay him? Seriously?

I wonder why the list did not include Durant signing with the Warriors.

That's probably the most likely, they can both bring the ball up so it won't matter really.

Butler is naturally a shooting guard

Also, that back court is a mess. Neither of them are really shooters. The spacing will be awful.

Wade in New York Knicks could've been good, too.

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but it's been reported that we should know by this weekend if Tim Duncan decides to retire or not.

Free zoo visits for Tim Duncan next year - if he plays.

Pretty tempting offer, if you ask me. He's a father of two kids, after all :P

Don't underestimate the allure zoo holds for basketball players ;)

Even if he does retire, I'm sure they'll give him the free visits anyway.

By the way, did the T-Wolves acquire any good players?

Nah, just signed the guy we drafted and a couple of role players. No point in signing a big name right now.

Butler will be a SG/SF hybrid, with the ability to bring up the ball. Wade will probably try playing SF a bit, he not that much smaller than a typical SF.

Wade can drive and has a solid shooting ability, not to mention he's clutch. Rondo can drive and kick to Butler, or keep it and take it to the whole. They're a solid team, they'll make the playoffs easy.

Wade in New York wouldn't have worked well. Wade needs athletic players around him, NY don't really have that for him, at least Chicago has Butler. I wanted him to go to Milwaukee. Image Wade throwing lobs to Parker and Antetokounmpo, hah it'd be great.

Why would you put Wade at SF, he would straight get bullied, especially in the East. If anyone, I would put Butler since he has the height, better shooting and solid cutting capabilities, and putting him at the 3 would space the floor better than Wade.
