Golden State too OP please nerf.

Golden State has messed-up the balance of the universe, we must start over from Level 1 to keep the inbalance from taking its full effect.

Making Cali a winner - smart move Durant. Hopefully the Warriors won't waste a fuck ton of energy that they need in the finals, on the regular season. That'd be awesome.

Again, need to emphasise this is a one year thing. This could destroy their chemistry, and it's a guarantee that either KD or Steph will leave after one season.

It is sad when we have been so fucked by the NBA and City Council that the only joy we can feel anymore involving basketball is at the pain and suffering of OKC fans who don't deserve a lick of our hate and discontent.

The northwest remembers? :p

But in all seriousness, I've been reading from both Sonics fans and others that Durant leaving could, if followed by Westbrook leaving, kill Oklahoma City as a viable market....

In other news, Pau Gasol dons the silver and black.

However, this means the Spurs will have to sacrifice Boris Diaw to clear up cap space. Thank you for your good work in 2014, Bobo.

Not only that, but it could very well be the penultimate sign that Tim Duncan is also leaving.

Thank you for everything, Timmy. You put San Antonio not only on the map, but in the very annals of sports history. Spurs Nation will forever be in your debt.

I like you, Lum, but if Westbrook hits Free Agency and is willing to check out the Spurs, you can bet I'll be all for him donning the silver and black. The Spurs definately could use a player like him to usher in the new generation era.

Most people, such as on r/NBA, are already predicting Cavs/Warriors III.

I won't mind if he does, I just don't want him to go to the Warriors. They have Curry, and they should have stuck with Curry. Adding Durant AND Westbrook could destroy them. Too much money to pay for all of that star power. Now if Westbrook goes to the Spurs, with Duncan potentially retiring *hugs*, like you said, he'd make a good leader there. So yeah. Just no Warriors.

Well, I see it like this: If he's gonna test the waters, and he's the sort of guy who can really help the team, then you do anything in your power to get him. And knowing the Spurs front office, I'm pretty sure that they will. That track record of theirs is pretty reassuring. :p

So the NBA ain't pulling a Stern on the Warriors? No trade cancellations yet? That happened before with Chris Paul to the Lakers, so why not here?

I still think Westbrook will be the MVP. According to the final player skills of 2K16, Westbrook is the better player.

In other news, Pau to the Spurs. I'm gonna miss you, Duncan.

Way ahead of you on that signing, Val.

It really does feel like the end of an era is nigh.

Let us never forget when he was ejected.

For laughing.

The best power forward. Ever. Dirk and KG got nothing on him.

That moment was what turned Duncan into how we view him today, as the serious no laughs guy. Also shows how much of a joke Crawford was as an official.

Indeed, but he has his moments of character breaking:

And indeed, that was an utter joke of a call from an utter joke of an official. I mean, really? The guy was just laughing, having fun, and you eject him for that?

Again, it wasn't the only time Joey Crawford did something like that. He did it a lot.

At least we have Kawhi Leonard to replace his demeanour.
