Two, in fact!

But I do not want to say "choke", although Klay did (a slap at Curry?). Saying that the loser choked takes deserved credit away from the winners.
All credit should go to Cleveland.
What about the Warriors that couldn't score in the final 4:39 of Game 7? At least a couple of baskets should fall in. The Warriors are literally punching walls and let a moment slip away, especially at the final minutes. Literally, a college team could score more or even a highly incompetent team like the 76ers can score in the final 4:39. Biggest choke in the history of chokes.

What about Biyombo as well? And how will Golden State ever recover? That game was a kick to the shin for the whole Warriors team, management, and fans, and won't recover.

This is a key part. OKC is in a very good position to contend. They have a very good team, solid coach and obviously 2 of the league's top stars and a pretty good balance. Durant ain't going anywhere.
There is still a good chance DeRozan stays in Toronto, tbh. That'll lead to them letting go of Biyombo and a couple of others, but right now signing Demar may be the biggest priority there for Raptors the last while or so. If not, expect this offseason to be a retooling one for Toronto.Outer Sparta wrote:What about Biyombo as well? And how will Golden State ever recover? Biyombo's not the big question right now, nor even close to that. Only the lack of dominant centres in this league rn is making the question little bit bigger.
With Golden State, I'll ask you this question: Did Chicago Bulls recover from getting eliminated twice by Pistons earlier in MJ23's career?

2 of the best centers in the league, Cousins and KAT, are best know for the ability to stretch the floor

I was comparing the top centres of now to like let's say 1990s tho, when the likes of Robinson, Olajuwon, Ewing and younger Shaq ruled the court. Nowadays the centres aren't as high-powered and really they have to stretch the floor in order to survive.

Well, that's the thing with bandwagon fans. As soon as the going gets rough, they jump ship. That's how it works.
Meanwhile, somebody realized that Stephen A. Smith has picked the Finals incorrectly each of the past six years.
Idzequitch wrote:My thoughts on KD. Where is he going to go that is better than OKC? Sure everyone seems to want him to go to his hometown team in DC, but is he really willing to leave a contender to go home to a team that honestly isn't very good? I don't see it happening. Same story with the Lakers and Sixers. He's a competitor. He wants to win a championship. He's not going to want to be part of a rebuilding project.
In addition, he works well with Westbrook, Donovan is taking that team in a good direction, he knows the guys on the team, and this is key, they know how to beat the Warriors. They choked and didn't advance, but they've shown that they can do it. Ditto the Spurs. I'm actually curious how they would have done versus the Cavs had they won that final game against Golden State.
Bottom line for me, if he's looking to win a championship, and he is, his best move would be to stay put in OKC.

Yes, but at least they didn't choke. Only time will tell if Golden State will win next year. Of course they'll rest players and take less risks, but only if they win next year, I:ll forgive em for this choke.

You really need to take this as a note of chain of events thanks to one fuckup done by NBA Head Office.
Lemme ask you one question : Are you also going to say that OKC choked because of Draymond Green not getting suspended?

So you believe the NBA was rigged in the finals?

Not just the finals, but it's pretty obvious that NBA used non-suspension of Green in WCF and then suspension of the same person in NBA Finals to prolong series. Let's look at it this way- Both OKC and GSW were leading 3-1 before the respective decision made by NBA.

Well, after all, Jerry Reinsdorf once said he would trade all Bulls championship rings for one White Sox ring.
