Kris Dunn doesn't want to be drafted by the Suns or Celtics because he wants minutes. Fails to realise that Thibs doesn't like playing young players.

My kidneys can't handle a game 7 especially with the chance of Cleveland being able to brag about something.

Sunny days brings the clouds away in Cleveland. Congrats on ending their 50+ year drought to this city. As for Golden State… a choke job.

^This. But such is life, so oh well. It clearly didn't help that Barnes, Ezeli and Livingston, the backups expected to do their jobs, weren't there either.

People have yet to forgot about Sacramento-Lakers series man. I doubt they'll forget this either.

Cavs won anyway. Hardly deserved ofc, but sometimes that's the way it goes.

Peace out, y'all. Time to tune into NFL and NHL well in advance. /out

Sacramento-Lakers was the worst officiating in basketball, if not sports history. This, is just Cleveland getting the luck on their side. Steph and Iggy aren't 100%. Bogut is out. Green was suspended.

It's still obvious that there were lot more free throws given to Cleveland as if asked. Go ask Raptors fans and they'll tell you the same thing about how calls, for some games in ECF, were so one-sided.

I still think Draymond Green getting suspended the Game 5 really changed the course of the game, because until then Golden State was doing well. As you know, it was a poorly-made decision by NBA head office to prolong the series, leading to the snowballing of events leading to this.

Ironically enough, it was the decision not to suspend Green that changed the course of the Conf. Finals, so it's really interesting how one player getting involved in 2 mishaps by head office changed the outcome of 2 big-time series :P

Clearly, Lebron was watching the Lake Erie Monsters and thinking, "I can do that, I can do that," and what do you know, he went and did exactly that.

Val Halla wrote:The Cavs are going to do it. Hardly deserved but eh, history will ignore that

Well, if you want to get technical, the Lake Erie Monsters broke the Cleveland curse, but that's just a minor league hockey team, people will say, and that therefore the Cavs winning tonight = true breaking.

The Royal Kingdom of Quebec wrote:Peace out, y'all. Time to tune into NFL and NHL well in advance. /out

Why not MLB too? We need more activity in the MLB megathread! :)

They were up 3-1 and… the rest is history. Curry, Thompson, Green, and the backups should've played much better than that.

This one was true to snap Cleveland out of it's title drought. Golden State choked like the Thunder, but James carried the team. And also, MLB's a long season! I probably might not be active until the playoff race.

Curry playing injured and Green getting suspended in what was a blatant attempt by NBA to prolong the series.

Also Bogut and Iguodala getting injured as a result of latter only made the things worse. It's not to downgrade Cleveland's win, but really are you going to blame them after getting fucked by the Head Office? I doubt Chicago Bulls, on their 2nd three-peat, would've won with Jordan injured at least once (often said to be twice for Curry, so let's say possibly twice as well) and Rodman suspended for Game 5.

Nah. Let the man retire a hero, winning the cup for his hometown and walking away in grace. At the height of his career.

If he's really retiring, let's acknowledge the man's achievements and applaud as he's walking away from the game.
