I'm not going to lie. It would be ironically sweet to see the Warriors blow a 3-1 series lead like the Thunder did. I don't really want LeBron to win another championship, but I went into these finals not really giving a crap who won, so either way.

Being a Raptors fan, I've seen plenty of calls going against our way. So this ain't that much really.....just a really badly reffed finals, especially the last few series.

Well you cannot have it both ways :P Gotta pick one and roll with it.

I don't want LeBron to win another, especially after The Decision. But wouldn't it be certainly ironic in that the 2 most interesting series of this playoffs are going to Game 7 because of a couple of questionable decisions by head office involving none other than Draymond Green? lol.

Same here. In fact, once the Spurs got eliminated, I've not bothered watching the rest of the playoffs.

Scripted finals once again...

Back in my day the finals were won by the best team, not by the team that can keep a storyline going.

I'm officially refraining from the NBA, and now since it's scripted and rigged to get more money and ratings, plus horrible officiating, just like the NFL, I don't care who wins, even though the Warriors were a good team to watch and my Raptors almost dismantled LeBron.

Oh, don't be one of those guys. It's not scripted or rigged.

Have you seen the horrible officiating going on this entire postseason? The fact that Curry got six fouls, in which two of them weren't supposed to be fouls, got ejected and almost got suspended by the NBA, in which, didn't want to lose ratings because a superstar won't play. Maybe the NBA will "hand" over the Championship to Cleveland, because they take pity on them.

A San Antonio columnist hints at the possibility that the NBA's version of Jaromir Jagr, Tim Duncan, may be retiring soon.

The Spurs say they don’t know what Duncan is going to do, but they are guessing he will walk away. And if they are right, they will miss him for many reasons other than his refusal to exchange insults on the basketball court.

When he was drafted by the Spurs, Tim Duncan simply said, “I just hope to make a difference," and he made one hell of a difference indeed. If he really retires, if this is it for him, then thank you, Tim, for everything you've done on and off the court. If Duncan retires, then Andre Miller will be the oldest player on the Spurs (both him and Duncan are forty years old); Miller is also the oldest player in the NBA.

Tony Parker, meanwhile, says he aims to become the Spurs' general manager when he retires. Likewise, thank you, Tony, for everything you've done too.

With the passing of the torch, especially if guys like Duncan and Ginobli (thank you too!) go, the Spurs are going to need to find a new identity and they might need some time to fill in their leadership roles, but I have faith the Spurs will do everything that they need to do.

It was the anniversary of Ray Allen's miracle shot in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals (which ESPN says is the best Finals game in history) yesterday. It still stings to remember that, it really does, but then I remind myself of how the Spurs came out swinging in next year's finals, outscoring the Heat in the series by the largest average point differential (14.0) in Finals history.

Not only that, but last Thursday was the anniversary of the Spurs' 2014 Championship. It was also the anniversary of the Spurs' 2003 Championship.

Donald Trump looks to be a Spurs fan, praising Coach Pop at a function in San Antonio.

You know when Duncan hangs it up, Parker and Ginobli won't be far behind. Also...

Goddamn it, Trump! Go root for the Knicks or something!

Indeed. It would be the end of an era, that's for sure, and I couldn't be happier knowing that I got to experience it. Things may be a little rocky after they leave, but I'm confident the Spurs will make do. But it sure will be odd, like when you sit down one night to watch your favorite show but the series finale was last week or something. At least I will have the memories.

I wouldn't put it so sentimentally, but yeah. Their 2005 run actually got me into watching the NBA.

I'm sure that the Spurs will be fine. They've got that voodoo magic on their side, afterall :p

But yeah. If Duncan and the rest retire, San Antonio still have Leonard, Aldridge, and a very good bench.

Why is a rumour that KD will sign for Indiana with Dwight Howard in a non NBA magazine the first thing I get when I search for him? Why would KD sign for an Indiana team that has one of the best players in the same position as him with PG13? Why would KD sign for a team that isn't, and won't be any time soon, a contender?

Nope. They're not really contending either. He'll stay. I can't imagine him joining the Warriors because reputation. He won't join the Cavs because they got Lebron and Love. Won't join San Antonio because they got Leonard and Aldridge. The contenders already have their forwards, unless you consider the Clippers or Raptors contenders, which I do not.

It's been bad every round. There was the incident in round one with a no call in what appeared to be a foul on Wade from Cody Zeller of the Hornets. There was the awful last few seconds of the Thunder Spurs game in the 2nd round. There was the non-ejection for Draymond Green with Adams in the WCF and then there's been game 6 here

Exactly. Funny how two of three most controversial things done for NBA playoffs this year involve Draymond Green (non-ejection and flagrant foul one) and also led to prolonging of 2 series that could've been finished in 5 games.

I really want and think that KD will stay with OKC. They have a very good group of players around him and Donovan has already proved his worth as an NBA head coach with his strategies I think.

As a Raptors fan, I really doubt they'll go after KD when they have other issues to solve in signing Demar DeRozan to a very cheap contract (which ain't happening most likely) and obviously find solution for Biyombo most likely leaving.

As for Curry's six fouls, about two or three were soft and shouldn't have been fouls. He got a foul for stealing the ball from Irving, and also got his sixth because LeBron flopped.
In solidarity with Ukraine, I will be censoring the letters Z and V from my signature. This is -ery much so a big change, but it should be a -ery positi-e one. -olodymyr -elensky and A-o- continue to fight for Ukraine while the Russians are still trying to e-entually make their way to Kharki-, -apori-h-hia, and Kry-yi Rih, but that will take time as they are concentrated in areas like Bakhmut, -uledar, and other areas in Donetsk. We will see Shakhtar play in the Europa League but Dynamo Kyi- already got eliminated. Shakhtar managed to play well against Florentino Pere-'s Real Madrid who feature superstars like -inicius, Ben-ema, Car-ajal, and -al-erde. Some prominent Ukrainian players that got big transfers elsewhere include Oleksander -inchenko, Illya -abarnyi, and Mykhailo Mudryk.
