Tim Duncan has come out to say that he retired because he wasn't enjoying himself.

The video of the interview can be found here. That's only forty five minutes of it, however. You can find the full interview (audio only) here.

Spurs GM R.C. Buford also gave an interview which you can find here while the Clippers' Blake Griffin wrote an article about Tim for the Player's Tribune here.

Coach Pop had a rather emotionally charged press conference, He and Tim were very close all these years, and it really shows. As one comment on the video put it:

Pop is understandably crying because he's been a father-figure to Duncan since Timmy came into the league. Timmy's mother passed away on his 14th birthday, and his father passed away back in 2002. So Pop's been his mentor the last 15 years. Duncan himself has called Pop "like a father" to him. He's the only NBA coach Duncan has ever had, as they came in together in 1997, almost 20 years ago. That's a long time to know and be around someone constantly. Pop likely thinks of him as his adopted son. It's a pretty awesome relationship actually.

You can definately see that in the conference as well as in this picture of him here.

Also, both Steph Curry and Adam Silver have weighed in on the KD to the Warriors issue.

The Nets have signed 2013 1st overall pick Anthony Bennett. It really is a sad state of affairs over there, isn't it?

Jalen Rose urges Russell Westbrook to go to San Antonio.

"If he wants to go to a team that has a championship pedigree, pack up right now and go to San Antonio. Because they have Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge, the only team in the league whose forwards led them in scoring, they play a lot on the wings. Now, you put him on the top of the floor, he led the league in triple-doubles, that would be insane. And Sam Presti is from the Spurs tree, he's really good friends with Coach Popovich. That deal could possibly get done."

He also said that it would be difficult for the two franchises to agree to a deal without the help of a third team and he pegged the Boston Celtics as the best option to help facilitate any potential trade.

From what I've read, it's appears that he's likely to bounce, and likely via trade.

The 2017 All Star game will not be played in Charlotte and will be relocated. The NBA have cited HB2, which also came under somewhat incoherent criticism from MVP and NC raised Steph Curry in April. The target for relocation is unusual, as it will likely be placed In New Orleans, which not only hosted an all star game recently, but is in Lousiana, who don't have the best LGBT rights either

That's true. But if I were like them and really concerned, I'd put it somewhere like Boston or Portland

Bunch of names being tossed around. Boston, San Antonio....I reckon it's all speculation, but you never know.

It looks like OKC is trying to shed Westbrook:

Adam Joseph
‏@AdamJosephSport
per sources, Presti discussed Westbrook deals with several different teams (inc. SAS, MIL, LAL, BOS), but no middle ground was found.

Adam Joseph
‏@AdamJosephSport
deals included players & picks from BOS, LAL. Spurs deal was player centric, Bucks very keen but backed away w/o an extension guarantee.

Adam Joseph
‏@AdamJosephSport
still clarifying w/ sources close to team details of exactly what was offered in Westbrook packages. Twitter will laugh/explode if true.

The SBNation Spurs' blog, Pounding the Rock, reported that Presti wanted Kawhi in exchange for Westbrook.

Also, here's more info about Tim Duncan Day.

Check out this Whataburger tribute to Tim here.
