These charges, or something similar, are loooong overdue. After many NBA games!
I hope he is in jail when his buddy KD starts the season by the bay.

I mean, if the lowly Timberwolves can be seen with high potential, I guess, San Antonio has a shot at maintaining their status as a contender.

Do you, like, not understand how the NBA works?

Pretty subjective, but, to give you an example, Towns and Wiggins have the ability to play as "two of league's best players", yet their team misses the playoffs, which does not make them a contender.Do you, like, not understand how the NBA works?
Well, I didn't suddenly make Parker and the other guy the best players to support my claim.

That's because they're not at that point yet.

Well, there's the downfall of the Spurs.
No offence, but that's the lulziest comment of the day.
Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge are 2 of league's best players, Tony Parker will be back and in a leadership role, Dejounte Murray seems like a very promising and underrated prospect, its network of Euro prospects is very promising, and Coach Pop will be back like usual.....Spurs ain't going anywhere man.
Obviously if both Aldridge and Leonard get injured, we might have repeat of 1997 draft all over again, and draft somebody legit. Barring that, Spurs will be fine.Val Halla wrote:That's because they're not at that point yet.
Both KAT and Wiggins are hard-working, dedicated players. With them and few solid prospects around, as well as Thibodeaux coaching, Minny will be challenging in few years' time. Key part - FEW YEARS.

R.C. Buford, the general manager, explictly said that he doesn't just plan for the short term. He plans for the long term. Contingency plans are formed, and every possibility considered. That's the Spurs method, that's the basis of their decades' long consistency.
He and the rest of the Spurs front office already expected Duncan was going to retire. They've no doubt been planning everything out accordingly and will act on their plans, and with the track record the Spurs front office has, I'll trust them to know what they're doing.
