2017 NBA Finals: Dubs Get Revenge!

Postby Outer Sparta » Fri Apr 01, 2016 8:25 pm

Now that the NBA season is over, we can finally turn our attention to the offseason. What offseason transactions will make headlines? What will Kevin Durant and LeBron do? Will Lonzo Ball be drafted by the Lakers? All this and more in the upcoming offseason!

Congrats to the Golden State Warriors on their NBA championship! That's their second one in three years!

Good to see this thread up and running again.

I have to say, the Golden State Warriors have never failed me. I can assure they will end the season with fewer than ten losses. Also, it's funny how GSW have fewer losses than the number of wins by the 76ers.

Speaking of the 76ers, I heard there is a rumor Jahil Okafor can be traded. I thought the trade deadline was past, or was that just for hockey?

Yep, I dedicated this to you now, so we can talk about basketball here!

I should make a poll on whether the Warriors can win that 73rd game. The 76ers never fail to dissapoint… by losing.

I don't think Okafor could be traded, but who knows? Maybe the Sixers can rid of their troubled player once and for all, although the deadline may have passed.

They won't trade Okafor. They'll more than likely lose Nerlens Noel, and they'd have less than nothing if they lose both Noel and Okafor.

The Sixers are a young team, remember. Young teams always get run over. Same with the Wolves. Only thing is with Minnesota, they've already got reliable players. Rubio is an excellent floor general. Towns is a very skilled bigman.

Plus, if they get the number one pick, they'll probably have Ben Simmons. A very promising player.

A player that can make or break his career if going to the draft.

New poll added! Concerns Golden State beating the NBA record for most wins in a regular season.

Guess we'll see.

I honestly don't think Porzingis is that special. As opposed the next Dirk, I think he's more like a second Linsanity. A player who does better than expected and ultimately, better than he actually is. I think that KAT is definitely a better player, and that he'll probably fall behind Devin Booker, D'Angelo Russell, and a mature Jahill Okafor.

I think after the loss to Boston in Oakland, they won't. They're going to rest their guys so they don't get injured going into the post season

If they trade Okafor, a great deal of custodians would be envying him. Earning $4.5M per year just for warming and cleaning the benches in a team other than the 76ers is a job any janitor would want.

They do lead the team, yeah. The main reason they're better than the other impressive backcourt team that isn't GSW, Portland, is the depth

At least it was the Spurs, and they're in a comfortable second place. I still don't get why the Bulls suck now?

Butler's doing all the work for the team. (Pun intended.)

Yeah, cause Derrick Rose has like five knee injuries.

No Rose, No Noah, their team can't defense to save their lives, and of course you can't forget Derrick Rose and his recurring injuries.

No love without Rose. No love means no peace, and no peace means no chemistry. Great logic, isn't it? :p

What would hurt worse: Rose injured, Kevin Love injured, or Metta World Peace (M-WAR) injured?
