I think before we're Liberal and Conservatives: we're people but the stereotypical "Conservatives discriminate" and "Liberals are better" isn't a good stance to have if you actually want to make any progress in the world.

Just putting this out there, but I, as a Conservative/Right-Winged man, also supported gay marriage. Not all conservatives are against it.

NationStates has plenty of Liberals, what we need is less of the extremes and more moderate Liberals and Conservatives in my opinion - but having the extremes of both ends often provides some great insights as well. It's never good to have too much of one group represented, you'd never heard other opinions then!
