I hope the DA wins in November. Maybe some of that blue will rub off on GA.

Oh, clearly not. They are horrible, dangerous monsters... which is why the Pacific Justice Institute had to make up a whole story about a trans teenager harrassing her classmates just so their transphobic nonsense could get any traction. The cherry on top? Their defamation campaign against the trans teenager ended up getting her on suicide watch.

You do realize that more republican representatives have been caught and charged with sexual assault in a bathroom than CIS men acting like a Trans* person.

How dare you bring your filthy facts and statistics to this discussion? How dare you pollute our irrational fear of trans women with stuff from reality?

First of all, there hasn't been a single case, in any of the places where anti-discrimination laws exist, of a man pretending to be a transgender woman so that he could sexually harrass, abuse or assault women in women's restrooms. Not one.
Second of all, anti-discrimination laws don't allow transgender women to sexually harrass, abuse or assault women in women's restrooms. If a man pretending to be a transgender woman entered a women's restrooms and harrassed, abused or assaulted a woman, he would still be committing a crime, and could still be convicted for harrassment, abuse or assault. Allowing trans people to use the restrooms corresponding with their gender has no effect whatsoever on the legality of sexual harrassment, abuse or assault, the capacity of law enforcement to intervene, or the capacity of the judiciary to convict people for said acts.
Third of all, if you force trans men to use women's restrooms, you could be opening the door to cisgender men pretending to be trans men, just so they can enter women's retrooms and sexually harrass, abuse or assault women.
And finally, if you care so much about protecting women from being sexually assaulted by men in public restrooms, why do you support forcing women to use men's restrooms? Why do you support forcing trans women, who already face disproportionate rates of harrassment, abuse and assault, to use men's restrooms, in the company of people of the same gender you suspect would take advantage of legislation enabling them to share public restrooms with women to harrass, abuse or assault said women?
Your argument makes no sense. Your support for this legislation makes no sense.
