There are a few state Republicans who supported HB2 who use PayPal to allow people to donate to their campaigns. Totally hoping PayPal can delete their accounts. Many of the Republicans who supported HB2 have declared they'll stop using PayPal.

I find it incredibly funny that the bigoted Michael Speciale who supported HB2 and made discrimination legal against LGBT people and disallowed trans people to use their appropriate bathrooms is now calling PayPal bigoted for "discriminating against women and children."

Every news article that gets published regarding this is just another article full of the bullshit that is being spewed heavily from state Republican's mouths.

New fad with bigots: Claim to be the ones fighting bigotry.

Seems to be the approach by the state's Republicans so far. It may just be that I surround myself with Democrats and therefore don't have many Republican friends, but I don't think the approach is working all that well.

Suburbs up in Greensboro by the airport.

In any event, this bull has already cost our state so much that McCory is willing to admit that it wasn't the best idea in the world. If that ain't a big enough red flag, nothing is.

Oh, clearly not. They are horrible, dangerous monsters... which is why the Pacific Justice Institute had to make up a whole story about a trans teenager harrassing her classmates just so their transphobic nonsense could get any traction. The cherry on top? Their defamation campaign against the trans teenager ended up getting her on suicide watch.

I feel this is just the cherry on the cake that rounds out hatred against various things McCrory has done. This is the biggest one, definitely, by far. I highly doubt he'll be getting re-elected this year and I am sure our pattern of decided to give Republicans a chance and then not giving them any chances for the next 40 years will be the situation this year.

Yes, because every time someone holds a belief slightly to the right of yours, it must be a joke or a method of pissing people off.

What a shitty argument, really. I don't even agree with Luepola's stance but your response is even worse. I guess the idea that someone on the internet may have a different opinion than yours is completely foreign.

You do realize that more republican representatives have been caught and charged with sexual assault in a bathroom than CIS men acting like a Trans* person.

Because a law stating that transgender people aren't allowed to use the restroom of their gender is going to stop a man from entering the women's restroom. If a man is willing to break the law by raping a woman, I doubt he cares about breaking a law to enter the women's restroom. This law does nothing to protect women and only serves to hurt trans folks.

I doubt it. Michelle Nunn and James Carter got clobbered in 2014.
You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.
