There shouldnt be encouragement of this. This is literally a pro-bullying policy. Educators and officials have a moral and occupational obligation to take the opposite stance. Any students who, erm, "defend" their classmates against that kind of shit, should it happen, should be given a fucking medal.

Didn't you once support LGBTQIA rights because you felt God supported them? This regression is a troubling development.

I support the rights of all people to live in society. I do think that religious freedom is also very important. I would not discriminate upon LGBT people, but I think that those who would not want to serve them unfortunately should have that right. I think that Scriptural evidence indicates that God loves all people unconditionally and we should do the same. If that answers your question.

If you're turning away people simply for being LGBT, that's discrimination, outright.

The right of business owners to refuse service exists to protect their business from people who are outright troublemakers. People who have been known to steal, people who abuse the employees or the courtesy of the business, people who are generally obnoxious, and so on, and that's if they're caught.

I hear cisgender folk are fond of pooping and peeing in grocery store aisles, and nobody turns them away for their gender.

If there's one thing the Christian right-wing has going for them, it's numbers.

They're a self-sustaining, purposely insulated society with it's own internal economy.

Really, a lot of the major religions have these internal structures.

But whereas, say, Jews use it to protect their people from exploitation by the ruling majority, the Christian right-wing uses it to try to restore Christianity's status within the country, dominating all facets of America, from the government, to what we teach in classrooms, to music.
