I'm Australian and the answer is no. Though there may be a vocal minority, the majority of Australians are not racist. There is a stereotype of the racist Australian, but I assure you, the majority are not that.

I am sick to death of people who say Australia is a racist. There are SOME racist, but name a nation without a single racist. Overall no. As a person from a racial minority I have encounted very few racists. But bsides that, Australia does not segregate people based on race. Australians as a whole do not hire/refuse to hire people based on race, and the list goes on. People who call Australia a racist nation have no idea of what a racist nation is
