Extremism of any religion is the largest form of terrorism. The religion is irrelevant.

But there not true Muslims because other muslims hate them. They do not represent all 1 billion Muslims.

That does not make them not true Muslims.

Likewise, it's not Trump nor Obama that represents all Americans. And such, Farage also doesn't represent all Europeans, nor does Wilders represent all Dutchies -- despite him saying that. Nor does Merkel or Ioannis Klaus represent all Germans or Romanians.

It's just that it's a whole lot more nuanced.

Also, small nitpick: it's ''they are'', not ''there''. ;)

Yeah It was a mess.
Sorry, I panicked and made a bad comparison.

I get it, it's all cool.

Now I should voice my opinion before I get pointed out for going off topic.

How do you guys think we can un-radicalize people who are wanting to join ISIS? The news reports all the time how awful it is when they actually get there but that hasn't worked. The terrible atrocities haven't stopped their recruitment. Bombing them back to the Stone Age isn't crippling their will either. I personally think the news should spread the condemnations of ISIS by head Muslim Religious Leaders. If they can get it out of their head that it isn't Allah's will to murder the "evil westerners" then I could see it helping greatly.

For feeling like they're being discriminated against when people start holding them collectively responsible for events such as this and demanding they be exterminated?

Sounds pretty intelligent to me.

The audacity of an utter moron like Tony Blair to offer his insight considering he's one of the reasons why we have this problem in the first place. He should GTFO/STFU, really.

Anyone connected to the Iraq War should be told that. It's their fault we have this mess.

They go to ball games, shop at stores, watch tv.

This is a No True Scotsman. You're basically trying to say that no true Muslim can do horrible things when that is blatantly false. Just as it would be to say that Crusaders weren't true Christians, that Nazis weren't true Germans, etc.

On the other hand, he was a dictator. Not sure I'd like to live under such a man. Neither would I like living under ISIL.

The United States then tried to remain away, but then everything changed when ISIL attacked.

To be fair, it's really not the fact that the Iraq War caused this.

The deposition of Saddam Hussein, as much as he was a sadistic asshole, was what left the region unhinged and destabilized.

We didn't know though, but here we are.

No, it's pretty spot-on. That's what caused the region to destabilise, but more importantly, that's what shifted the blame of said destabilisation on the West.
