Seems like Kasich picked up all of Rubio's supporters.

For the most part, anyway. Unfortunately, his huge delegate deficit is insurmountable at this point. I don't think it changes anything that insiders think Kasich is the most likely of the three to win a contested convention, given that he would be palatable to greater swathes of delegates. It's still probably a lost cause, and Trump's and Cruz's people are already saying that they will use their delegate dominance to box Kasich out of the convention in the first place.

If Trump's the nominee, how about a Hillary-Kasich ticket on the other side? ;)

You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

Maybe if there's a civil war. Otherwise, no, don't do that. Kasich doesn't need to be anywhere near the White House.

They'd likely lose the Senate anyway if this ticket occurred.

They are defending 24 seats this cycle to the Dems' ten seats, might lose it anyway.

A ticket like this would shake the foundations of the current gridlock.

I didn't write the article, but the idea is totaly mind blowing as to whether it could save us all from our horrible partisanship or to the contrary hasten the complete demise of our political system.

But Donald Trump isn't gonna win, so his idiocy is irrelevant.

I don't get why people hate Hillary so much. Yes, she's vacuous, yes, she's oily, yes, her policies are uncompromising where they should be compromising and vice versa, yes, there's something indefinable but off-putting about her, but the level of hatred republicans have for her baffles me.

Funny thing I noticed: the GOP rule that any nominee must win 8 states ... includes territories.
Kasich won DC, taking him to 2 states or territories.
Oops no. Rubio won DC I just forgot him. Kasich on 1 and it's hard to see another 7 for him.

There's only one remaining (American Samoa on Tuesday).
