Cruz and Trump were, after all, some of my last choices in the primary. That, and Huckabee etc, but they don't count.

I'd be very surprised if Arizona went blue.

Ditto. I guess I'll risk it, I'd rather vote for my principles, my principles being more libertarian. So, I'll probably vote Johnson, unless the polls are neck and neck in October, in which case I might just bite the bullet.

The problem is that in 2016 the bullet is currently passing through all of our skulls.

Crazy Trump U

Postby New Jerzylvania » Sun Jun 12, 2016 2:04 pm

"Crazy Trump U" ~ (apologies to Heart)

We may still have time
We might still get by
Every time I think about ISIS I want to cry
With the bombs and the terror
And Mexicans coming
Nowhere to breathe easy...no time to be young
But I tell myself that he's tweeting all night
There's nothing left to do tonight but go crazy on Trump U
Crazy Trump U! Lemme go crazy, crazy Trump U! Yeah!

My love's his evening tweet with a new spin
The gentle sweet singing of Trump in the wind
The tweeting that calls, after you in the night
And kisses your ear in the early light
You don't need to wonder, he's doing fine
And I love ...when he just whines
Let me go crazy on Trump
Crazy on Trump U! Lemme go crazy, crazy on Trump U! Yeah!

Wild man's world is crying in pain
What you gonna do the GOP's gone insane
So a fraud's his fortune, he's got Trump U
What's he gonna do?

Ahhhhh ...ahhhh ...ahhh ...ahh!
Crazy on Trump U, crazy Trump U,
Lemme go crazy, crazy on Trump U
Yeah!

I was Trudeau last night in my dreams
Trump built a wall on the border it seemed
I sang him the song that i made up above
And Trump keeps me alive with his tweets showing love
Yeah! Crazy, crazy on Trump U,
Let me go crazy, crazy Trump U
Ohhh! Oh yeah!
Lemme go crazy, crazy Trump U
Yeah!

Ahhhhh ...ahhhh ...ahhh ...ahh!
Crazy! Trump U, crazy Trump U,
Lemme go crazy, crazy Trump U
Oh!

I don't miss him all too much, he was a mediocre governor and a mediocre statesman who had his life handed to him on a silver platter. Rubio, meh, I'd have voted for him. I'm glad Cruz is gone, though, really, he was the worst of all 17 candidates. I mean, it's not just his inane religious right policies, it's the fact that hes desperate for power, he's a little weasel.

I miss Rand, I was down with him. I had disagreements with him, but if I voted for him, it would have been a happy vote, not a vote where I need a barfbag.

I think Ron Paul would agree with you.

They won't really start getting useful until after the conventions...but if Trump continues flailing around whining about the media and trying to bs his way through foreign policy questions with incoherent tough guy talk that doesn't actually address anything, we can hope that it will be a continuing trend.

So far his advisors and campaign staff who keep insisting that he's going to run a more disciplined and responsible campaign don't seem to be having much luck reigning him in. :p
