There is a God, and he is merciful. That woman prevented me from being able to say "Congressman Clay Aiken" after she lied her way to victory in 2014

"Ellmers, who was the first congresswoman to endorse Trump, rode the Tea Party wave into Congress in 2010. But she angered conservatives for a series of votes, including ones in support of the omnibus budget, the farm bill and the Export-Import Bank."
This does not appear to be about Trump. Also NC was forced to redistrict, it was incumbent v incumbent.

It was expected though. She really got herself in trouble for supporting such legislation.

Trump won with only like 42% of the vote. If they had split evenly, they would have gotten their contested convention they were hoping for, and we might still have Cruz and Kasich in here. But because of the winner take all, Trump was pretty much guaranteed to get what he needs no matter if Cruz or Kasich stayed in.
