She's a tad too crazy for my tastes, but a vote that isn't for Trump or Hillary is still a good vote as far as I'm concerned.

Weird as it may seem, Jill Stein is not the crazy one who's run on the Green ticket. At least, not as crazy as Cynthia McKinney. Here's her twitter feed. I don't recall exactly when she gave up her seat in the House, I think it might have been because of her running in 2008 for President. The man who replaced her? Hank Johnson, the representative who was concerned the island of Guam would, and I quote, “tip over and capsize” because it had a lot of US personnel on it.

That's really overstated. I don't think you get from silly Twitter posts to putting your finger on a the nuclear launch button.

That's really the worst thing you can come up with? You don't like how he handles criticism? We have a nation where the rich basically rule our politicians. All of our problems can be tied in some way to this fundamental fact. We're going to be hampered until we solve the corrupt campaign finance system. And only Trump is in a capacity to do this.

And suggesting he would fire a nuclear weapon is silly.

The solution to the rich controlling our politicians is to cut out the middle man and just have the rich as our politicians?

You know that's some damn good logic. There's absolutely no better logic in the world. Except maybe Donald's logic. He has good logic. The best logic.

It is kind of astonishing actually. Trump constantly brags about being exactly the type of rich self-serving bastard who manipulates the government, the law, and the courts, bribing, bullying, and whining his way into getting everything he wants at the expense of anyone and everyone else that they claim to hate...and yet his supporters shrug it off because he promises he's going to protect them from the Mexican rapists and Chinese jerb stealers.

"Yeah! Donald is the champion of the little guy! When he constantly brags about how his wealth makes him smarter and better than everyone else, and then promises to tear down the system his wealth and influence is built on, he means it!! Not like those corrupt establishment assholes who always promise to tear down the system, but we know they won't because their wealth and influence depend on it!"

Why? The two party system bars third parties and forces them to spend loads of money simply to stay on the ballot. Campaign welfare is partial restitution for this.

A party with a platform to abolish welfare accepting welfare to get elected. That's a lot like Clarence Thomas getting into college on affirmative action then trying to shut the door behind himself.
