Who disproportionately commit crime, consume welfare and are unwilling to assimilate. Oh boy what could go wrong.

Is his policy on the domestic economy "give to the pure, toss out the impure"? Certainly would appeal to his voters.
At least the billionaire wouldn't be influenced by anyone but themselves, and the people who vote for them.
He does support deregulation to quite an extent, and reduction in corporate and individual tax rates, all of which would definitely aid the US economy.

That's perhaps the only virtue in the political system to come.
I suppose our GDP has only one general slope trend and that's positive, at least until the underlying resource base disappears.Republic of the Cristo wrote:I don't like Trump.... Buuuttt, if all these liberals plan on leaving if he is elected, I think I could tolerate him...
Because there would be no opposition to him?
Ha! I can't even fuckin' leave, all my money's for college and I have no interest in rejiggering my life for the half-frozen semiwastelands of la Canada.

Of course there would be opposition to him, but all the liberals would be gone so it would just be Conservative opposition. THEN, when 2020 rolls around we find that its only sane conservatives left ( because we will have strangled Trump by his Tupee by then)... and no more liberals; which would cause the following to occur

So basically, searches on how to move to Canada are surging as of Super Tuesday.
The trouble with this option is that if they leave the US, then those left behind are more likely to be either Trump supporters... or people too poor to flee. And I'm not sure Canada is far enough away to flee Trump's effects; if he wrecks the US economy like both the Democratic and Republican establishments are warning, then that's going to mean Americans can no longer afford to buy as many Canadian goods as they used to, which is going to have an impact on our economy too.
Hell, given the guy's foreign policy ideas that fly in the face of what experts have to say on just about any given topic, I'm not sure anywhere is safe from Trump's potential effects on the world.
I'm kind of left wondering if the reverse is feasible; enough Canadians moving to the USA in time to vote for Sanders in the primaries, or if not, to vote for Clinton in the general election.

No! Canada's great! The more the merrier! There's lots of cool stuff! Come! Plz... its so cold and lonely here
But on a more serious note, I think it is overreacting to leave your nation because of a bad leader. He won't be able to do anything much meaningful with Congress and the citizens. It's only 4 years.
