Max and ruby.

That was one weird show. My sister liked it when she was little, but she called it Max and Bossy. Which is actually pretty fitting.

That was more my younger sister's time for television geared towards people that age, I was beyond that and on to bigger and better things.

Though, we all know the best young kids show was the Berenstain Bears.

I was born in 1999 so it was really perfect timing for me, even though it was for very young children. My other favourite was Franklin. And Peppa Pig, but that came a little after.

Franklin was around when I was young enough to properly enjoy it. Peppa Pig and Max and Ruby weren't, I'd started watching other cartoons by the time they came out. Though my sister was born in 2000, so she's right there with you with the shows she watched.

Probably because you don't notice getting thirsty when doing nothing, and are less likely to be hydrating properly.

Depends on a lot of factors at the time, including humidity, temperature, wind speed, what you were thinking about consciously and/or subconsciously. In other words, no good reason :p

Probably because when you were out in the desert you were aware that dehydration was a big problem that needed to be combated, so you drank lots of water.

When you're sitting around doing nothing in an air conditioned and comfortable building, you don't think about dehydration as much and probably don't drink a lot of water.
