Infact, and, i'm probably going to get torn apart for saying this, but, allowing child ones to be made... while weird, and kinda (lets be honest, pretty damn so) disgusting to know that people WILL buy them and use them for their intended purpose, might actually be a good thing? I mean, think about it, if you can perform these fantasies and expel these urges on an object, that can't really be harmed or abused, by you doing them, isn't that better then not having that object, and instead going crazed with the urge to the point of harming real children? Sure, it won't stop every pedophile, but i'd bet that the rate of cases on it would drop, because there would be a safe, non harmful, legal alternative, and no one really has to know you do it, or at least, no one that knows or could harm you by knowing.
Hell, you could even make it clinical. As in, have people with these urges actually talk to professionals, who could PRESCRIBE this to them, at little to no cost to them -cause robots aren't cheap usually - and really make it into an initiative to try and reduce the amount of abhorrent pedophilia cases. Again, it won't prevent all of them, but it would certainly help alleviate people who just can't seem to handle their fantasies the way most people do, the good ol trusty right hand.

Here's the problem: This is not and has never been about violence against women, it's the same way feminist objections to pornography have never about explotation, it's the same way feminist objections to prostitution are have never been about coercion. It's the product of a deluded moral code wherein society should be able to tell people what they find arousing and everything else was tacked on after the fact. "This will make rape happen" isn't supposed to be a logical argument it's supposed to exploit our societal acceptance of rape as an act of ultimate evil to lead us to irrational conclusions.
