It's a hugely popular subject around the world and divides friends, family and communities on an annual basis, especially fifteen years ago when Schumacher kept win... wait... wrong race?

Quite frankly, I'm tired of these conversations that inspire divisions within people. My feelings on race are kept private to avoid hurting other peoples feelings and causing more problems than there ultimately needs to be. When people start talking about race they start picking sides. It would be nice if they picked sides based on how much they had put into a particular community but they don't. Most people go back to racial stereotypes and long past history, going back through their own bloodline as if blood was something particularly special (but you're not having any of mine thank you very much).

The less conversations we have about "race" in my view the better. If someone feels discriminated against because of the colour of their skin or their religious background then they need to campaign to get the law changed to make sure that they are treated equally, but this doesn't require a discussion about race. You don't need to say, "I'm being discriminated against because I'm white", you can just say, "I'm being discriminated against because of who I am." Culture, heritage. The more we take skin colour out of the debate the less it starts to matter.

But then, race is a pointless distinction. We're all beings of terra materia and when the aliens come to get us and they will, what specific part of the earth we come, our skin colour or our silly little belief structures we have isn't going to matter one iota. In the end, death comes to us all.

I'm African-American/Black, and I live in a town that's about 90% white. Overall, though, it's been a pretty good experience. I haven't run into any major racial issues and people are generally alright with me and my family being there. Although, since my family is involved in the academia (which is incredibly diverse), and I'm in most of the higher level (AP) classes (which are also really diverse, tbh), it has most definitely been smooth sailing for me.

I'm white, but have distant Asian heritage (which is somewhat present through my dark hair and skin). My Asian ancestry dates back several generations, however, well back into the 1800s. Despite this, I've been subject to varying degrees of abuse because of my dark complexion, especially during secondary school (I'm British). It hasn't affected me a great deal personally, as I'm white and have no Asian blood relations so don't particularly feel as though it's a particularly big issue for me, however it definitely says a lot to me about attitudes towards race in my very white part of England. Overall, its been an... ok experience. I came from Moscow there everyone I saw was pretty much White which I was comfortable with, but as I came here nearly everyone I saw was Black, Asian or Arab. Honestly it feels like less than 45% of the folks here are white. First off there's the blacks with their sexist, racist london gang music that they call "grime", their wannabe US gangsters and their baggy pants thinking their thugs. Their rude and obnoxious little shits, spoilt brats and talk about how their going to be "trapping" etc to bring in money, half of the blacks at my school have already had sex before the age of 13 and 70% of the black guys, in my year have got a girl pregnant. The Asians are ok, their food is nice but sometimes it just bloody smells, Asians are ok though but sometimes they can just be edgy and their culture is very annoying. And finally there's the Arabs.

Let me just first establish that I hate Muslims, Arabs or anyone from the Middle East thus it was really unsettling (I hold grudges from the Chechen Wars etc). There's millions of them, they literally own every little shop, every fast food place, they are just there. They make fun of terror attacks, call themselves ISIS, Al Shabab, Boko Haram, Al Qaeda and Taliban members, call themselves pirates, yet you mention one little thing about them and all of the little shits try and come onto you like their innocent and done nothing wrong. In my time in London I will say this, I've not come across a single decent Arab or Muslim or whatever.

As for being Russian, I've encountered my fair share of abuse every now again, mainly from salty wannabe "terrorist" kiddies salty that the Russian Air Force is bombing the living hell out of Syria. But in terms for being Russian, the reception has been mixed, a lot of people including a certain group of blacks (one of whom I dated; the rest of whom are some of my closest friends) immediately took interest in my well... "Russianness". Its nice to know that the UK is generally more educated about Russia and the Soviet Union. Meanwhile I had a hostile reception from the damn Arabs I told you about earlier, I was constantly getting in fights and arguments with the little edgy kids to the point I was suspended from school 6 times within a 3-4 month period and 1 short-term relocation.

How do I feel about other races? I hate Muslims/Arabs and they should all go back to Persia or Mongolia or Turkey or where ever the hell they are from, then we should proceed to nuke the hell out of that region and convert the surviving ones to Christians, honestly... they disgust me and I despise them so much, they do nothing good for the world apart from waste our resources and tax payers money and just come here with their families of 11, breed and sit their asses on state welfare. Asians are cool I guess, I get on with most of them. Other whites are the best, I feel as if the white race is genetically superior to the others because throughout the history of (modern) mankind, its always been our race getting shit done, always our race bailing others out, always our race coming out on top, so we deserve the top spot. White-Hispanic, and while most consider me white due to my appearance despite being essentially half-Guatemalan, I was raised by the Hispanic portion of my family and effectively raised in the culture, so claiming to be ethnically Hispanic would be correct as well.
