I thought that I once read that the chromosomes from an egg could be introduced into another egg to create a viable embryo through standard recombination. This article is talking only about using the 23 chromosomes already present in an egg to duplicate themselves, essentially cloning. Was I mistaken about the science behind the former theory?

I believe there is a method to effectively turn an egg into a sperm. Early days on the research last I checked but exciting.

Is English your second language? That's an honest question, and if it is then thats fine, but you have the words wrong. Homosexual means you're sexually attracted to the same sex that you are. Homosexual men like men, Homosexual women are attracted to women. The opposite, colloquially called straight is heterosexual, the majority of people that are attracted to the opposite sex.

Would you not contend that unless non-heterosexual people are bisexual, that they would be very reluctant to have sex with those of the opposite sex? A lesbian voluntarily having sex with a man is like me as a heterosexual male deciding to have sex with another man, partaking in an act of homosexuality. It can happen but there wouldn't necessarily be enjoyment out of it and it would require both people to significantly go outside of their comfort zone or self imposed limits. The aforementioned reluctance can be thought of as a minor form of repulsion beyond just a simple lack of interest.

Saying that homosexuals "do not like anything about" the opposite sex sounded to me like you were suggesting that they hated or strongly disliked the opposite sex, which in turn seems a little extreme. Of course, if one has no interest at all in certain people then they're probably not going to want to get intimate with certain people. That's fine.

This seems to be about single parents vs. married couples, not about heterosexual vs. homosexual parent couples. Are you sure this is the right study?

(Unless the emphasis is on natural - i.e. biological - parents; within the confines of this thread's topic I'd say it's fair to assume that children born to same-sex couples are assumed to be biologically related to both their parents.)

That would wonderful for me though if that happened and you'd have me in a heterosexual relationship you'd approve of if I could function like a female at birth as to have kids. But nature hasn't blessed me that way and thus I find my nature of being a 4 on the Kinsey Scale as almost skewed entirely to lesbian when it comes to relationships. I could tolerate a heterosexual relationship if I could become pregnant, but it just won't happen.

I'm just recognizing that if there is absolutely no difference anymore between trans people who've transitioned to their desired sex and everyone else practically speaking, that anti-trans opinion will collapse for better or worse from the perspective of conservatives. It would effectively become normal for people to change sex and once someone has transitioned fully, nobody will ever know that someone used to be the opposite sex unless they're told.

For me, my relationship preferences are skewed due to my biological nature as I'm almost dead center in the pansexual/bisexual zone. I have said option due to my sexuality being skewed to where I can have what I want and how I need it without depriving myself of having a family.

Via nuclear transplantation, yes.

It's also possible to create induced pluripotent stem cells from differentiated cells and try to turn those into sperm or eggs cells before placing them into the testes or ovaries for further differentiation, but I'm fairly sure the success rate of such experiments in mice has been terribly low.
