Regrettable he died before issuing a decision limiting mandatory Union dues.

At least his death does not prevent the ruling in Fisher II from coming. In fact I think the majority may mostly use the decision he was writing.

An interesting fact, Antoine Jones was both a person of color and gay, and Scalia was the 5th vote in United States v. Jones, 132 S. Ct. 945 (ruling a tracking device placed on a car was a seach).

Scalia's jurisprudence is more complicated than your worldview allows.

Yeah, sorry, no. You understand we live in a technological age right? That we have detailed records of things that have happened for the last several decades.

So we know that Republicans have spent 8 years under Obama throwing a screaming tantrum complete with government shutdowns and record filibusters and embarrassing votes against their own toxic show bills and their own leadership having to filibuster their own botched political ploys all the while creating the least productive Congresses in history.a

So your argument is, "Yes, Republicans have been kicking and screaming and arguing that if they can't control the government then government shouldn't be allowed to function, vut years ago even though Democrats worked with us they sometimes called us mean names, so its all the same!".

Which relevant to Scalias death is exactly why Obama should nominate someone and do it soon, give Democrats ammunition coming into the election to remind their voters that Republicans are attempting to hold up a Supreme Court nomination for over a year just to once again spite Obama and because they continue on the position that if they cant have everything their way, nobody should be allowed to have anything.
