She has done nothing for the immigrant community and, in a bid of opportunism, lambasted San Francisco and other so-called "Sanctuary" cities, effectively turning legal immigrants and naturalized citizens who know illegal immigrants against her.

Basically, at this point in the campaign, the Latino vote which is supposed to influence the election is split between Sanders, Clinton, and some are skeptical of Trump now that we know he's a blowhard.

She voted for immigration reform in 2007 and supports Obama's executive orders on the issue.

That really means nothing.

Rubio also wanted to pass the Gang of Eight proposal and yet he's not going to get the Latino vote either.

That aside, I wonder who President Obama's nominee for the court will be.

He will only get one if Bernie is elected. Otherwise the GOP will wait for the next president and try to squeeze out victories where they can with the 4-4 split.

Rubio cut-and-run on it. Clinton is still using Sanders' vote on the 2007 bill against him. We could have had this solved then.

That's true. But we also were told by Obama that immigration reform would be a key domestic issue. We have gotten just DACA/DAPA, but raids keep on going on immigrant communities.

It doesn't paint a good picture, and it's making us feel like Democrats are merely holding the carrot in front of us.

Haven't several recent decisions come down 4/5? With 8 Justices, you would have either a strong decision or a deadlock tie. This might be to some advantage.

A lot of recent ones have been 5 to 4 and yes, things could get ... interesting.

So...would it help if a hypothetical someone were to shoot one of the remaining Justices?

It'll be warranted under a Trump or Cruz presidency. Maybe not conspiracy theories, but moral indignation as abortion is banned past 20 weeks and benefits are stripped from same sex couples.
