isn't that the point? ISIS survives by feeding its ideology to the disaffected masses. Anonymous is attempting to isolate ISIS by cutting it off from there primary recruitment tool. Once the recruitment is cut off, the ISIS core will be identified and then they can be targeted by real force

Pretty sure they've never exposed anyone really serious, just some dumbasses they tricked into downloading software that revealed some info about them.

Honestly, anonymous is too diverse a group to pigeon hole into one demographic (and certainly far too complex to intelligently summarise in a single paragraph).
On one hand you have a group of vaguely minded individuals concerned with freedom of expression, pro-democracy, opposition to cult ideologies, opposition to government monitoring and other generally admirable aims.
On the other hand you have a group which includes people more concerned with shits n giggles, and occasional internal clashes over objectives.
