Canada suffered about 172 homicides in 2012. Shootings happen everywhere.

Canada suffered about 172 homicides in 2012. Shootings happen everywhere.

And the US suffered many more. But yes, shootings and mass shootings do happen everywhere, and news bias just makes it seem like we're the only place where this happens.

This is in Northern Canada, and as one who has worked up there in bygone days--a gun is a pretty good thing to have up there.

Haven't heard about the type of gun used, but it was probably a rifle. There would be lots of them up there.
