You could still give credit if you want. The OP has an edit button like all your posts.

Fair enough. I'll take care of that!

Working together with Stalinists and Maoists?

1) I think the idea of marxist revolution is bullshit. I'm not that kind of leftist.
2) A lot of the left-wing is downright insane.

Why not? We share the concern for the immediate emancipation of the working class with them.

They're authoritarians and we can clearly see what the practical applications of their ideologies have caused in the past.

The New Dawn Commune wrote:For all those leftists out there who are not Pan-Leftist, why are you not? It seems to me that much of the reason for the theoretical and practical stagnation of the past is that we, as leftists and anti-capitalists, are stuck in anti-revisionist sentiments (I, as a Marxist-Leninist, am speaking to largely to my own here). Should we not, as critics of capitalism, seek to emulate the system in terms of its dynamism and flexibility in developing new critiques and cooperating theoretically and practically with one another? Marx said for the workers of the world to unite. Shouldn't that apply to us as well?

Edit: credit goes to revleft for the final phrase of the OP

Last time I checked it wasn't just leftists who were anti-capitalist...

Why not? Reformed capitalism has worked quite well in places like the Nordics and Switzerland. Capitalism has created the best living standards the world has ever seen. Brought the world into its most prosperous age. Sure it has problems, but the problems can be reduced if not entirely eliminated and the benefits outweigh the harms.

Ironic, considering that they put an ice axe through Trotsky's head for (among other things) advocating the very point you espouse in this thread.

No, that is how Stalinists and Maoists often roll. Have you learned nothing from history?

Not all polar bears will kill you. But enough will that you stay the fuck away from them.

Because I have a personal view of 'leftism' that is much different than other types.
