Because ebola is only transmittable when the patient is symptomatic or otherwise leaking bodily fluids.

Yeah sure, that may be the case now but a new strain could appear or it could change. That still means that people could transmit it to anyone they fuck. By the way, ever been to san francisco? Hey, I admit it I'm no doctor. But let's put it this way, if the choice is between making sure no one from the affected area can expose himself to the us population and making sure people from the affected area can expose himself to the us population, which would you rather have?
