Honestly speaking, and from the perspective of someone who does enjoy anime, I never thought the yandere trope was good. In fact, I liked watching the Higurashi series, but I didn't enjoy Rena and the Sonozaki twins going psycho. I understand this was necessary for the overall plot of the franchise, mind you. It was because of the Hinamizawa Syndrome, and all. But the ''cute girl that disembowels you'' character grows old fast, at least IMO.

I will be fairly likely to be the tall one in any relationship I have. Maybe the girls in those games represent my wishes or maybe a height range of my ideal female partner.
