Yeah... No.

That's, like, a solid fucking no.

How would you like it if Kathy Bates over here was your biggest fan?

She's a yandere, full-froce, and I've never heard anybody in their right mind be all "Oh hell yeah I need me some of that booty hurr hurr hurr".

All respect to Kathy Bates as an actress, but she's not hot.

All around disagreeable person.

Took you long enough to discover that dire fact.

All that remains is to show that biological systems replicate in such a way as to satisfy the minimal criteria required for evolution to apply to them, something which has already been adequately shown time and again. At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

Like what...yandere?

I suppose so, but only in the vaguest possible sense - the same sense in which everyone has moments of complete motherfuckery.

First of all, I like Yanderes. But no I don't mean that I want a yandere as a girlfriend, I mean yandere characters are often more interesting and deeper than the other character types. They are often attractive, adorable in their normal mode. They're also very capable individuals, independent, strong, smart, etc..., mysterious and unpredictable (in any case, at least when the character type had not been popularized and was still mostly unknown). They tend to have well developed backstories that explain why they are the way they are. A lot of them can be considered as part of the Crazy Awesome character archetype (think Hannibal, the Joker etc.), and this archetype is quite popular too, and Yanderes just have the added bonus of being cute, so what more can you ask for?

Personally I think others are like me as well, so Yanderes aren't popular because people want them as girlfriends, they are popular because they are more interesting than the rest.

I'm sorry, but you don't have to be Johnny Bravo to want your girlfriend, no matter her personality, to be attractive.

He's just applying the same logic that makes a ugly person that likes you a stalker and a cute person that likes you a secret admirer, to the more extreme case of a Yandere. I do have to agree. I'm not totally against a yandere gf, but she would hopefully be attractive and an obsessive rather than a possessive type, i.e. trending towards violence against other women/friends around me out of jealousy rather than trending to violence against me for perceived betrayl.

Sorry to revive an old post, but I remember Vultasia. I was browsing the Internet like two years ago and found their Factbook, started reading it, thought it was funny, and that's how I found NationStates. Essentially, they were my introduction to this website. So I just ended up on this post trying to see if they were still here, but they're an ex-nation now. I did go back and read their Factbooks. Ah, memories.
