I'm not that far right wing. In American politics, I've had to move uncomfortably left to support Sanders because there isn't really anyone better.

There's already a right wing discussion thread, why did you make a centre-right discussion thread?

I often claim myself to be rather left-wing, but I guess I often show signs of more moderate centre-right'edness regarding social issues like immigration.

Much too right wing, I'm afraid. Can't quite stomach Farage, Trump, and the religious extreme.

Social issues? Like what specifically?
I set this up for the more discerning European voters :P.
Centre-Right Parties have been doing quite well, at least in the UK, Aus (thank God Abbott is gone), and especially in New Zealand.

In fairness Iffy, I was a bit put off (not in the angry sense; couldn't think of the right phrase) when I saw those views on the right wing thread - I kinda assumed they were the driving majority there, and so whatever it is I believe wasn't welcome. So it seemed easier not to post there, but fine to post here.

Well, allow me to rephrase that, as upon reflection I could not gather up any evidence for social issues. I guess I'm just a personally a bit "traditional," but I'm still fairly liberal regarding social issues.

No. To us, he's Right Wing. It would pretty much be like the British Labour Party trying to get along with Trump. It'll just end up in a ban.

Think of it as like a little triangle of politics. I can't stand parties that are too far left and right wing. I find it best compromising a little of both. I'm sure sone people who support the centre-left feel the same.

I thought it would be reasonable to have this thread here. There's a lot of support for Centre-Right Parties throughout the world. Besides. One day, this thread shall crush the others. It's already cutting edge and state-of-the-art. It has proper lists, secret messages, and UK/US-friendly English. And now a Beer Café.

I wanted to do the Scandinavian nations too, but I ran out of vote space, and because Scandinavian nations aren't really that populated... It'll have to fit under "Others", sorry. I put Brazilian and Japanese up there because we are civilised and tolerant of others. But not too tolerant...

I wanted to do the Scandinavian nations too, but I ran out of vote space, and because Scandinavian nations aren't really that populated... It'll have to fit under "Others", sorry. I put Brazilian and Japanese up there because we are civilised and tolerant of others. But not too tolerant...

No matter, the others section will suffice. Expecting for our small countries to be included would be arrogant

I used to run an alliance, and a region. Not that it matters now.
