The Lord gives, the Lord taketh away.
He'll send others, like always.
God is less selfish than humans actually. Look! They are trashing the Earth as we speak.

Another old time musician passes away. Apparently people think it's a hoax, but it seems to be spreading across the internet and Bowie's son has confirmed it, so I figured I'd post this thread so people can reflect on what his music meant to them, etc.

I think calling the late David Bowie a "pop star" in the title to this thread is really weak. Why not change that to artist or something a bit more thoughtful. Britney Spears is a "pop" star.

However, he was a pop star to start off with, and he performed pop music. He and Britney Spears are both pop stars, true, but it's also true that (for example) Louis CK and Carlos Mencia are both comedians, if you see what I mean.

The title of this thread was a result of the mods merging my thread and another together. That title isn't my work. "David Bowie Passes Away," which is above the post you quoted, was the title I used.

Ironically concerning death (as is his dark last work Blackstar containing "Lazarus") here is a 19 year old David Bowie's first release from around Halloween 1966...
Please, Mr. Gravedigger
