Well, this one actually happens to be a pet peeve of mine, but it's even generally speaking very tiring seeing people putting in so little effort they don't even bother to use the correct terminology.
Weird pet-peeve. But I'm of a very different sorts than people with such obligations. I find them meaningless and exhausting. As far as the "correct" terminology, that's dubious at best if we're going by the links posted already. Going by your signature, it makes more sense why you see an issue with this. The fact of the matter is, just as is the case with me, you're not going to find many people who really care. It's long been included in Scandinavia, or associated in it as "Fennoscandia" or Finno-Scandinavia, for varying reasons, so unless the world suddenly decides that Finland isn't apart of Scandinavia, it's not worth the exhausting frustration.
Pet peeves often are. As for the rest, well, Scandinavia and Fennoscandia aren't the same thing either. Finland is part of Fennoscandia.

Quite. It's also funny seeing someone from the other side of the world trying to lecture people who actually live in those countries about "proper" geography. Not to mention ridiculous.
Finland is indeed Nordic Country, not Scandinavian.
Exactly.
