Fuckin hippies.
The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

The most fundamental problem of politics is not the control of wickedness but the limitation of righteousness.

Aargh buuuuuuuullshit GeoNet, like fuck that was a magnitude 4.3, it felt like at least a five! Fuck I hate earthquakes. Haaaaaate 'em.

Edit - ah, I see they've recalculated the depth to only 5km down, so it's really shallow. That explains it.

No, because humans pretty much created dogs. Which sounds like something a mad scientist would do, soo...

But cats domesticated themselves. They looked at humans and thought

Much more than dogs. Humans have been responsible for the development of a massive chunk of land based species, including plants.

I love cats, but I won't claim for a second they're smarter than dogs. Lately I've been more interested in getting a dog, though. More companionship.

And sycophancy.

But dogs are the most important one. Without them, humans wouldn't be the same. They are, of course, man's best friend.
