I just ignore them. Given, I've met nice vegans that weren't twats, and I don't have a problem with them. But I've met those that are the stereotypical in your face lards that get their panties in a wad if you so much as breath on a fur coat or a sandwich. I generally tell them to fuck off and continue on with my day.

Yeech.
As to the meat thing. You know how I feel about pets, but I am aware if I were cat sized and luCy were people sized, I would have been lunch a long time ago. I have no problem doing my part for my species. Pass me some cow.

That's what I'd do, but I'm usually unfailingly and self-destructively polite and they tend to pop up as friends of friends all the time.
But yeah, there are reasonable vegans who are nice to hang with too. Best people to ask for budget cooking advice, honestly.Ethel mermania wrote:Straight edge are the violently not drug and alcohol folks. Having lived with vegetarians for the past few years, I'm perpetually hungering for a good roast beef.Val Halla wrote:I was gonna play Dragon Age Origins but then I remembered that all my games were either in the prologue, which bores me, or completed, so I can't play. Ugh.

Val Halla wrote:It takes like, 3 hours for me usually. I mean, it's better than the prologue for 2, which is all around dreadful, but still, it drags on soooo much.

I'm very blunt. If you're being a twat and annoying me, I will tell you as much.

Yeah, it was pretty bad. Third house to burn down in this neighbourhood, which it's an old neighbourhood and two, basically the projects of the city now. They've busted 4-5 meth labs and drugs ops in this area in the past few years, so who knows.

I'm not shocked by the news any more. Shootings are reported on so much that I've become desensitized to them, and the political climate has been stagnate that there's not point in checking anything currently.
