The Vieux Carre is an amazing spot. It always reminds me of home. Also, the fried bananas... oh!

We ate everywhere, Paul prudomes restaurant, Emily lagrase's, seven sisters, pat obrians. I wanna go back....

I know it's morbid but gods, I enjoyed the Lafayette No1 night tour so much.

I'd love to go for Anne Rice's Vampire Ball, just to look at the costumes.

I agree, on both counts. Even if there's a line wrapping around the place, it's always worth it. And the garden district is simply exquisite.

Clearly another place I need to go back too.

I'd also recommend Central Grocery, if you don't mind long lines and like muffelatas. Sitting down and eating one while sitting on a bench by the river walk is a favorite pastime of mine.

If you do not stop at Cafe Du Monde when you're there, you haven't been to New Orleans. Also, take a stroll through the Garden District. Gorgeous.

This is bad, I need to find a new source of salt licorice, the stuff I can get around here just doesn't do it for me anymore. I need the real kick, not just a mild tingle, if you know what I mean.

Put some pure salt in you mouth and put licorice in, see what that does.
