It isn't news for flying camels though.
I wonder what that would be like, having you neighbors ask "Why the heck is he playing Christmas music in May?"

Maybe the caffeine and sugar shocked your body a little bit. If you need caffeine, may I suggest you get mates (black teas with caffeine)? You can find them on your tea aisle in almost every grocery store. Numi is a brand that has these.

Nah. I need snugly blankets, but not snuggies. The latter is harder to curl up under with someone else.

The first time I ever had alcohol was seventh grade year during Mardi Gras. I'm going to miss it if I ever move out of state. But overall it's a great holiday, especially to carry on the libations from New Year's. For whatever reason, thought, they insist on spelling "crew" for the floats as "krewe".

Your right about the spelling. We did a trade show one year and stayed at the Marriott in the French quarter. It was the week and weekend before fat tuesday, what an amazing party.

The Vieux Carre is an amazing spot. It always reminds me of home. Also, the fried bananas... oh!

A trip to New Orleans isn't complete without a stop at Central Grocery for a Muffelata and Cafe Du Monde for beignets and coffee, if you ask me. Then again, my experiences are almost always heavily food-based.

If you do not stop at Cafe Du Monde when you're there, you haven't been to New Orleans. Also, take a stroll through the Garden District. Gorgeous.

I agree, on both counts. Even if there's a line wrapping around the place, it's always worth it. And the garden district is simply exquisite.
