2. Warren Jeffs is not part of the LDS Church. He is part of the FLDS sect of Mormonism, which broke off from the LDS sect approx. 1870, which was when the church also issued the Manifesto ending polygamous marriage in the church - they left the church in protest.

Now, to try and get back on track, I really do hope these last few holdouts surrender soon. If they die, well... I don't think any God or Goddess of any pantheon is going to give them leeway for what they pulled.

BURNS – The FBI on Wednesday evening moved in on the last four occupiers at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, apparently placing armored vehicles around their camp.

A friend of occupier David Fry was streaming on YouTube through an open phone line with the occupiers as authorities made what appeared to be a final push to end the 40-day old occupation.

Besides David Fry, 27, of Ohio, the encampment includes Jeff Banta of Elko, Nevada, and Sean and Sandy Anderson of Riggins, Idaho.

"Come out with your hands up," a law enforcement official was heard saying.

In a statement, the FBI said one of the occupiers rode an ATV outside their encampment at 4:30 p.m. When FBI agents tried to approach the driver, he returned "at a high rate of speed" to the camp. Agents then moved into position ahead and behind "the area where the occupiers are camping."

The FBI said as of 6 p.m. negotiations were underway and that "no shots have been fired."

"There's nowhere for you to go," the officer also was heard saying.

Fry shouted back, "We're leaving tomorrow."

At approximately 4:30 pm (Pacific) on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, one of the occupiers rode an ATV outside the barricades established by the militia at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. FBI Agents attempted to approach the driver, and he returned to the encampment at the refuge at a high rate of speed.

At this time, the FBI has moved to contain the remaining occupiers by placing agents at barricades both immediately ahead of and behind the area where the occupiers are camping. Negotiations between the occupiers and the FBI continue. No shots have been fired.

"It has never been the FBI's desire to engage these armed occupiers in any way other than through dialogue, and to that end, the FBI has negotiated with patience and restraint in an effort to resolve the situation peacefully. However, we reached a point where it became necessary to take action in a way that best ensured the safety of those on the refuge, the law enforcement officers who are on scene, and the people of Harney County who live and work in this area," said Greg Bretzing, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI in Oregon.

Wednesday marks day 40 of the occupation of the refuge.
