The funny thing is that when I joined, the common opinion was that NationStates was dying, and had been for about a year.

If that's true, NS has been dying for a lot longer than it was ever truly alive ... and it's a lot more alive than it was when it was alive, too.

Mid-February 2015.

I was looking for a Nintendo DS emulator on the Google play store (never found one) I knew the name of one in general "NDS4Droid" but I forgot the D when I was typing.
So that led me to another app, the NS Android app (it's shit btw) so then I started a nation, and it was awfully made. I made a few more in the coming months (about 10 at max) I only have 4 left now.

It's really been great.

It all started when I was looking for a country/nation creator game.

Began playing circa 2003. First region was 10000 Islands, though moved away from there shortly after. Hypothetically, a middle school friend and I created a region called the United State of America, invaded the region Iraq with multiple UN WA puppets, and got banned from the lofty organization. I then proceeded to rick-roll the mods with a link that would crash your browser and computer and got banned.*

Came back in 2005-2006, created something called the Virtual Roman Catholic Church headed by a prelature pope, HQ'ed in the Vatican City region (which I use to be founder of). I tried to get Catholic to follow my scheme, though it failed, and I ended up getting kicked out of my own organization (though not before I managed to bring down the regional government of St. Margaret Mary's).

Shortly after I created a region called New Earth using my former main nation Rolamec. It went though several governments, forums, and switched back/forth between raiding/fending. Around 2008/2009 the nation was deleted after I may or may not have recommended somebody euthanize themselves to spare the gene pool their stupidity on the forum. During this time I was going through a libertarian phase and created the region Islandia (which eventually got taken over my raiders or somebody). Also made Westphalia at a similar time (2010-2011) during which time I became a fender, though a highly inactive one.

And went active/inactive on/off ever since!

First joined in late 2012 with a nation with something "bunny" in the title. Didn't really get that involved. Forgot about it, and joined again in 2013 with a nation that creatively had my first name as its name. Then I joined again in 2014.
