A cardboard stove...I can see the fires now.

It does due to the impossibility of all furniture being limited to a ridiculous weight ceiling, and even if we had the materials for it no one is gonna buy them because they're bloody expensive for the common folk.

You're right. This here is an obvious trigger warning for those affected by similar events as myself. Anyways, I won't belabor the point, here goes;
My life hasn't been the same since the traumatic experience I experienced on January 8, 2010. I was moving furniture from the house of my deceased grandfather's house, when an ottoman was dropped on my foot. I....I.....I broke my toe.....
I'm sorry, I just can't continue, it's too much. GALLOISM, YOU BRAVE BASTARD, BAN IT, BAN IT ALL!

We should just take it a step further and ban humanity IMO.
If you feel that way you should make a thread for it.Grand Britannia wrote:

There can be regulatory categories with different limits for different types of furniture. A gradual move towards lighter furniture weights would be beneficial.Liberty and Linguistics wrote:

If you are not willing to take the matter seriously I see no reason for you to post on it.

When the OP doesn't take him/herself seriously, then I see no reason to be serious.

because for a large number of furniture items this is flat out impossible without either:
A. weakening its structural integrity
B. making it impossible to use for its intended purpose.
