Tax cuts for the rich and deregulation destroyed it on the GOP watch last time, no reason to assume it will be different next time. The GOP needs to realize that tax cuts =/= economic growth.

In the long run only population growth drives economic growth. And with present proposed GOP deportation plans and immigration bans the economy is screwed. Plus, handing tons of cash to the rich leads to the rich hoarding it, not spending. The GOP needs to cut loose from the idiotic policy proposals of ALEC and AFP (Koch sociopath organization).

-Tax cuts are applied to all citizens. Singling out the rich is rather pointless.
-Deportation is not a universal idea among Republicans.
-Tax cuts certainly equaled economic growth in the 1980's.
-Cash is not handed to the rich, unless you count corporate welfare, in which case, Obama has done plenty to help out the rich. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/04/2 ... 91411.html
-What exactly do you define as 'the rich' anyway? Democrats are usually vague on the phrase, but most of the 'rich' in America are small business owners that would be helped out significantly by deregulation.
-Bank deregulation, not tax cuts, created a situation for the Great Recession. I don't know how many times I have to repeat it.

Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.

In recent news, efforts by Donald Trump have convinced Vladimir Putin to repeal Russia's anti-homosexual laws.

You actually think all 37 votes *want* Trump to be President?

They just want him to be the Republican nominee.

Well, not compared to the GOP...

Anyway, I was sticking specifically to electricity generation solutions, unless we're talking about nuclear, solar, or wind-powered cars. Oil power plants are just a plain bad idea right now.

Sanders wants to ban nuclear power completely.
http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/ ... nergy.html

What is the big deal about Three Mile Island anyways? Nobody died. It is the one of the most over hyped things in history. "Nuclear power is so dangerous look at Three Mile Island!"

Yeah, nuclear reactor melted down. Turned nuclear meltdowns are not that deadly after all. You just need a adequate containment structure.

Three Mile Island proves how safe US reactors are, even when everything went wrong nobody died.

Rand Paul did quite well in the fifth GOP debate, and called out Christie and Trump's absolutely retarded proposals, its just sad that the media doesn't give a fuck about him, and will do anything to marginalize his campaign.

Everyone's mentioning that guy. Seriously, even here on the other side of the world in Singapore and Hong Kong every effing body is talking about him, and I know that I'm not making anything better by mentioning him yet again. The media, social media, every time his name is mentioned he gains more attention, more popularity, everyone seeking to be politically correct by condemning him... does NOBODY realize that they're helping him run his election campaign?!!

What do I think? I think that he's smart, and he's a hero. For saying what he truly thinks, instead of masking it in the layers and layers of p.c. and bringing out the true beliefs that he and so many in the US hold. I don't agree with him, I don't agree with many people, but he has pushed the world further into having a debate of why bigotry and xenophobia are so prevalent, forcing back the self styled 'liberals' (whose stance I lean to) who are happy to sweep everything under the carpet and rant about irrational Nazis.

So it's heroic to say ugly, awful, bigoted, nasty, divisive things in a race for one of the most powerful positions in the entire world so long as you're sincere about them? A rather low bar for heroism, don't you think? I see the same level of bravery in dive bars every weekend at about 1 a.m.
