Have you seen his presidential campaign, though? He doesn't fight like the others do.

That's his campaign strategy, though. He's said over and over that he won't engage in the mudslinging that everyone else has engaged in. And unlike Ted Cruz, he's stuck to that with the level of discipline that Bernie has with his own political message. He's called himself the freaking "prince of light and hope" for crying out loud.
You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

Actually, that's a misquote- Kasich was referring to how his opponents are all doom and gloom, and he was contrasting to them.

I still haven't voted in my state primary, my ballot hasn't even come in. I'll vote Kasich if he's still in the race.

Oregon, by the way, we don't vote until sometime in May. I just scrambled to get the voting registration for the new state done as well, that way I could vote as an Oregonian for the first time.

We do have open primaries, but you can only vote in one. I had my own personal reasons for not voting in the Democratic one.

If I may ask, was it because Bernie didn't really have much of a chance against Hilary in Texas?

I assume you're a Bernie supporter for a variety of reasons, I'm not trying to be accusatory, it would just make sense.

I admire it though.

Cruz stooped to Trump's level faster than Trump could say "YYYUUUUUUGE!"

Ah. Well then, never mind on that, but the rest of the post still stands. The dude's campaign strategy has been to be compassionate and caring unlike his mudslinging rivals. From what I've read he ran as a Tea Party guy against Ted Strickland in 2010. He was combative and incredibly conservative. Then he got his ass handed to him on an anti-union bill when the bill was put up for a vote and Ohioans resoundingly defeated it. Since then, apparently, he's performed a 180 and has attempted to be a uniter rather than a divider. That political strategy certainly helped him win re-election with 60% of the vote in 2014.

So, the current Republican candidates:
-Donald "I am the best 140 character writer" Trump, aka Andrew Jackson pt. 2 but with even worse hair
-Ted Cruz, who is either the Zodiac Killer or someone who legitimately believes that he was chosen by Jesus to become President and bring about the Apocalypse, and I'm not sure which is scarier
-Marco Rubio, who wields the Sword of Chang a.k.a. the Lance of Destiny but is still losing to Donald "When did we ever beat Japan at anything?" Trump
-John Kasich, who is apparently Azor Ahai reborn, and presumably plans to steal the Sword of Chang and slay Donald Trump to become the rightful ruler of the Unified Kingdoms of Amærica.

Green cards are common portmanteau for permanent residency cards or form I-551s. They're given to people who are coming here and live here.

H-1Bs are different. The H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa. It is designed to allow U.S. employers to recruit & employ foreign professionals in specialty occupations within the USA for a specified period of time. The H-1B program provides the opportunity for foreign workers in specialty occupations to legally live and work in the US for a total of 6 consecutive years, and entitles their spouse and children (under the age of 21) to accompany them and legally live in the USA on an H-4 visa. However, the spouse and children have to obtain their own work visa for working. (http://www.hooyou.com/h-1b/#sthash.vl4I7wsz.dpuf)
