More violence at Trump rallies.

Seriously, either Trump should get his stuff together and actually try to bring an end to this, or he should be treated every bit as the leader of an extremist movement he is becoming.

I'm waiting for someone to shoot a protester at one of these things. It's only a matter if time.

Yeah, that's what worries me the most. Punching and shoving is bad enough already, but if someone gets seriously injured, or killed...

Trump has his stuff together on this. Why would he want to stop the violence he loves? That he encourages? That gets him the attention he craves?

Can we just grab Trump and put him in a corner until the Republican Convention, like the five-year-old spoiled brat and schoolyard bully he clearly is?

If someone gets killed his supporters will literally cheer.

I wish we could put him in a corner with a dunce cap. The media is the problem. They need to stop making his every rant a must cover television event. Make everything edgy he says breaking news. Seriously Trump saying something edgy is as much news as bear shits in woods.

Stop fucking covering his caimpaign! Report the results of the elections but his rants and stupid comments are not newsworthy.

I don't doubt they will. They've cheered everything so far.

At this point, I wonder if there's anything, anything at all, that would make his supporters turn on him. Are we looking at yet another Berlusconi, who can say and do anything and still get away with it?

Facts on the ground. That is what matters. While the Donald himself may or may not be a racist, for a significant minority/plurality of his support base racism is clearly an important motivator. Anything to undo what the "black guy" has done.

I think the failure of the pundit class to predict Trump's staying power came from underestimating how many people harbor authoritarian quasi-fascist desires.

Not to mention how easy it is to get drawn into that sense of community provided by these people. The power of a crowd can sway most men.

Other people's suffering. Our own suffering is absolutely intolerable, unjust, and typical of the ruling regime. ;)

Trump's modeling agency (a real thing apparently) is under fire. Using the same visas that he's so against now to bring in women, then not paying them.

It's terrible that this sort of law-breaking and hypocrisy is so prevalent in politics that it's not even a little bit surprising.

Given how Trump-centric this thread has become, perhaps it should be renamed "Orange Is the New White".

That's the thing with Trump supporters: no matter what he does, they'll back him and that is actually a scary thing. Of course, they are a sizeable minority but we have to worry about the ones he could temporarily pull to him.
