I don't mean to be rude, but you could look at the results breakdown.

I did, you're not being rude, no worries.

To me, it just is a bit of a surprise, that's all. Hence my dramatic entrance. :p

Donald Trump is holding a rally about 15 minutes from my house today. Everyone in the city is going, either for laughs or to support him. He's really pulling crowds.

You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

I kind of want to see the man who destroys society as we know it, but then again, it's a Trump rally.

Fascism is the merger of corporate and government power. Think GOP and their corporate pals. The GOP has never seen a deregulation or corporate welfare bill it didn't like.
Cruz wants to sell public land and national parks to corporations and allow pollution on a masive scale.

Totally obscure, but my dad found an interesting but bizarre article about an abandoned mining town up where I live. Like seriously, I almost hiked to this. Interesting random tidbit.

Not entirely relevant but I found it interesting.

Cruz isn't that fundamentalist, especially compared to Huckabee or Santorum.

Cruz is Dominionist. He favors overriding all secular law with religious law.

I wonder if the GOP won't be better off with Trump as the nominee. At least when Trump inevitably goes off script and proposes something batshit insane they can point out he's not really a Republican. Cruz doesn't offer that luxury.

Cruz is a clever politician who carefully chooses what he says and does. Trump is a wreaking ball.

That would. Trump drags him up there only to announce Trump is picking himself.

He'll name his dorky son (the one named after hisself) as running mate.

Cue Trump Jr. moving to some swing state and hoping for an electoral bounce from there in November.

It's not a rule, it's in the constitution, and he will get pinched if he breaks it.

He will when it affects him personally. Once he finds out he can't choose his son because they both live in New York, he'll probably clamour for it to be repealed, but he'll have to submit. He can't continue on if he doesn't....not that he'd win anyway.

Or just pick him and see what happens. Enforcing the Constitution is not an easy nor quick progress. Any case would take years to resolve.

It is really complicated but technically they can pick someone from the same state, it just be a complicated mess and not worth the headache.
